Lisa's intricate scratchboard technique with pigment ink for colour. The tiny lines are scratched away with a sharp tool to reveal white underneath which are then delicately coloured with pigment ink to create this vibrant piece. The beautiful monarch butterfly is flying in the whimsical sky. Her work sends a wash of calm over the viewer as they become immersed in the world Lisa has created.
