Happy New Year!

On behalf of our entire team, thank you for a joyful holiday shopping season. It was such a pleasure to help folks find the perfect hand-made gift to wrap up, or to treat themselves. We also thank you for your patience as we dealt with some dicey winter weather that had us cancelling or rescheduling studio classes. We love winter but we've had enough of the wild weather already!
A New Year is a wonderful time to learn something new, try something different, or dive deeper into a creative practice you love. With that in mind, our Feature Artist for January is .... you! Save 10% on all art supplies until January 31st. We have a wide selection of paints, mediums, supports, drawing supplies, brushes, palette knives and paper. If you're looking for something specific, please ask as we can offer order specialty items for you.
META4 is looking for a new kiln.
Sadly, our workhorse of a kiln, which has served us so well over the decades, has had a few too many repairs and things are looking rather dire.  If you know of someone with a used kiln looking for a new home, please contact us.  Must be able to fire to cone 6 and be in good working order.

Nothing compares to in-person instruction in a small group, surrounded by an inspiring environment. You'll find all of that here at META4 Gallery! 

Small class sizes, professional artist instructors, art supplies available on-site and a rich and inspiring venue.

Designed for students aged 14 and older, you can explore painting, drawing, silversmithing, pottery, woodburning, felting, encaustic, printmaking and so much more!  A short drive north, Bonnie's glass studio is where you can learn stained and fused glass techniques. 

Not sure where to start? Contact us and we'd be thrilled to find the right course or workshop for you.  There are daytime, evening and weekend options, weekly course or single workshops.

 META4 carries a wide selection of artist quality acrylics, oils, watercolours, mediums, paper (including individual sheets), inks, brushes, graphite, coloured pencils, conte, charcoal, art markers, palette knives, easels, varnish, stretched canvas, wood supports and more. While these items are not available on-line we are happy to shop with you by phone. See our hours and contact info below.

This year we've been focusing on finding Canadian-made products and we're happy to say that we carry several Canadian brands, including Tri-Art and Demco acrylics.
