Our story - Meet the META4'sMETA4 Gallery is Ontario's premier destination for fine craft, original art and invigorating studio programs for all ages. Opened in 2005 in historic downtown Port Perry, this artistic hub is owned by artist-entrepreneurs, Birgitta MacLeod and Bonnie Thomson. Birgitta is a painter and teaches several times a week in our studio. Bonnie is a glass artist and when not at the gallery, is busy teaching and working in her studio in Seagrave. When these two busy people are supported by friendly and customer-focused part-time staff. |

Looking for META4 Gallery? We're right in the middle of picturesque Port Perry, on the shores of Lake Scugog. We like to be actively involved in our community. Each year we donate to dozens of charities and participate actively in events organized by our local business associations and arts organizations. We do it for the fun and the rich reward we get from helping others, but what a delight it was to be presented with the prestigious Art of Transition Award for "Cultural Champion in Business" in November, 2014. In 2007, after just two years in business we won BIA Ambassador of the Year Award and were nominated for the Business of the Year Award by the Chamber of Commerce in the same year.
Come and visit us and introduce yourself. Take a peek in our studio to see what amazing, creative things are happening there. Talk to Bonnie about her beautiful and functional glass pieces or query Birgitta about her paintings or paper and mixed media works. We love to create, and we’ve created a little piece of artistic heaven in Port Perry.
