Dancer by Charles O'Neil
Charles O'Neil is a full time artist with a background in drawing and painting, but in the late 1990s, he became interested in sculpting. Working primarily in metal wire, his work is intricate and detailed. The Government of Canada has given Charles' sculptures as gifts for visiting international leaders. Large public works can be viewed at Pearson International Airport's Terminal 3, The Design Firm of Southfield Michigan, the Stuart Wietzman Collection of New York and Haliburton Sculpture Forest.
Wall Dancer creates motion within its pose. Hanging on the wall, Wall Dancer brings feelings of magic to the observer. The intricate details shine in this piece, with hours and hours of wire sculpting making it even more magical. From all angles, you can see something new and intriguing.
