Two Cardinals (Under the Moon) is a mixed media piece featuring collage and gelatin plate monoprinting. Two cardinals sitting in a tree giving off a pop of colour in the peace of the winter moonlit sky.
Corina is a multimedia artist who is continually inspired by the happenings of day to day life. She is constantly exploring new techniques in a variety of media, including pencil, oil, gouche, mosaic and gelatin plate monoprints. Her monoprints are created using a printing plate made from ordinary gelatin. The image is either painted or rolled directly onto the gelatine plate to create a single and unique work of art that is not replicated.
