Glass Casting Crash Course with Christy Haldane - NEW DATE T.B.A.
Create a glass tile for your window or garden. In this four-hour glass casting course, you will create a tile from a clay model. The process will be an introduction to open face casting. You will learn how to create a clay form, mix casting materials and how to build a mold to cast your clay model in a glass kiln. This course will introduce you to the basics of glass casting and allow you to join a more advanced glass casting workshops in the future.
This class takes place in Christy's studio in Douro-Dummer. It is recommended that you wear "paint clothes and shoes" since mold making is a messy process. You may also want to wear boots and bring footwear to change into once you are in the studio.
Please bring your own safety glasses.

Updated Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received more than 3 days before the first class are eligible for a credit or refund, less a $25 cancellation fee. There is no refund or credit for cancellations less than 3 days prior to the start of class. A registration may be transferred to another person at no charge.
