Intro to Encaustic - Friday & Saturday, October 29 & 30 1 pm - 4 pm - PETERBOROUGH
Encaustic is an ancient medium that uses beeswax mixed with paint & damar resin to create a luscious, versatile surface. Learn interesting ways to use layering, mixed media and texturing that are unique to encaustic painting as well as how to set up a safe and healthy studio. Due to the studio setup, space is limited in this popular class.

Duration: 2 half-days, Friday & Saturday, 1 pm to 4 pm
Course Fee: $135, (+ $40 materials fee payable to the instructor; additional supply list provided)

NOTE: As of September 22, 2021, you must show proof of full vaccination (2 doses at least 14 days prior to class) or medical exemption in order to attend a studio program at META4 Gallery. This is required by the Ontario Ministry of Health.
Due to Covid-19 protocols, class size is strictly limited to allow for physical distancing. Wearing a cloth or paper mask is mandatory. Bring your own snack/drink as these are not provided. META4's washrooms are available to students but not the general public. More details regarding maintaining a healthy environment will be emailed as part of your confirmation.
Updated Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received more than 3 days before the first class are eligible for a credit or refund, less a $25 cancellation fee. There is no refund or credit for cancellations less than 3 days prior to the start of class. A registration may be transferred to another person at no charge.
