Learn to Draw - Wednesdays, 9:30 am to 12 noon, January 13 - February 3 - PETERBOROUGH
For the complete beginner and those wishing to improve their drawing skills. Through exercises and demonstrations, you'll explore line, light and shade, positive and negative space, volume, value, proportion, composition and mark-making. Using charcoal pencils, charcoal sticks, and conté, you’ll develop your drawing skills.

Duration: 4 weeks, Wednesdays, 9:30 am - 12 noon
Course fee: $145 (4 weeks)
What to Bring:
- 18 x 24” pad of newsprint
- kneaded eraser
- white hard eraser
- charcoal sticks (willow or compressed)
- conté (black and/or sanguine),
- 4B pencil
- You may also bring charcoal and conté pencils, graphite stick.
Important Registration Information:
Due to Covid-19 protocols, class size is strictly limited to allow for physical distancing. Wearing a cloth or paper mask is mandatory. Bring your own snack/drink as these are not provided. META4's washrooms are available to students but not the general public. More details regarding maintaining a healthy environment will be emailed as part of your confirmation.
Updated Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received more than 3 days before the first class are eligible for a credit or refund, less a $25 cancellation fee. There is no refund or credit for cancellations less than 3 days prior to the start of class. A registration may be transferred to another person at no charge.
