Pottery - Handbuilding Tiles - Saturday, August 17, 10 am - 4 pm - PORT PERRY
This workshop will introduce you to basic hand-building techniques to make beautiful tiles. You'll use printmaking techniques to carve a linocut stamp, then use your unique stamp to create clay tiles. No previous clay experience is required. Pieces will be fired in META's kiln. Return for a second afternoon (Sunday, August 25 or Monday, August 26) to glaze your tiles before they are fired a second time.

Duration: 1 day, Saturday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm plus additional glazing time on Sunday or Monday, August 25 or 26 (additional glazing dates may also be available)
Course Fee: $135, includes lunch in a local restaurant on Saturday (+ plus $10 material fee payable to the instructor)

All registration fees are subject to HST. A registration is secured when the fee is paid. There is no refund or reduction in the fee for missed classes. If you find it necessary to cancel, we are happy to provide a store credit for the value of your registration, less a $25 cancellation fee. Due to our commitment to our instructors and fellow students, there is no refund/credit for cancellations within one week of course start date.
