Creating with Pen & Ink: Part I - Sunday, May 5, 1 pm to 4 pm - PORT PERRY
As an artistic medium, pen and ink uses a series of lines and dots to create a pleasing composition. Both are varied by size, volume and arrangement to achieve the appearance of texture and value contrasts which are the heart of an ink drawing. Part One will introduce three basic strokes that can be used alone or combined to depict objects. Using small drawings you will learn how to draw the stokes and the suggested applications of each. A techniques only class with no finished project.
