Contemporary Paper Cutting - Sunday, April 7, 1 pm to 4 pm - PETERBOROUGH
Explore the centuries old art of Paper Cutting, known as Scherenschnitte in German and Kirie in Japan, with a contemporary twist created by artist Laurel Paluck who backs and burnishes her cutting works onto copper sheeting. Learn the basics of this traditional art form to create a portrait or landscape as intricate or as simple as you wish. A deeply meditative practice which will allow you to produce a personal image framed and ready to hang in your home. Bring a photo for reference if you'd like or choose from images provided.

Duration: half-day, 1 pm to 4 pm
Course Fee: $50 (plus $12 materials fee payable to the instructor)

All registration fees are subject to HST. A registration is secured when the fee is paid. There is no refund or reduction in the fee for missed classes. If you find it necessary to cancel, we are happy to provide a store credit for the value of your registration, less a $25 cancellation fee. Due to our commitment to our instructors and fellow students, there is no refund/credit for cancellations within one week of course start date.
