Dry Brush Watercolour
with Marc Gagnon
Saturday, February 22, 2020
This course will present a new technique for the application of traditional watercolour pigments in a dry method. This method may be used in conjunction with traditional wet on wet painting techniques or entirely alone to create unusual effects that give your watercolours a whole new look. Among other things, you will learn to: adjust the water/pigment ratio, select the correct brushes and use them to give your painting texture, movement and atmospheric effects, adjust values, enliven areas for impact and gain awareness of the subtleties of pigment movement on various types of watercolour paper.
