Basic Metalsmithing - Silver Bangle - Sunday, March 31 - PETERBOROUGH
Would you like to design your own silver bangle in just four short hours? Why not create one for yourself or make a present for a member of your family or a friend?
This fun and friendly workshop will give participants, with little or no previous experience, the basic skills required to make a unique bangle. Participants will be guided through from design to creation, with demonstrations and advice throughout the afternoon. Techniques covered will include forging, texturing, soldering, and polishing. Participants will have the opportunity to practice the techniques first in copper, before moving onto silver. Under the expert direction of Shannon Kennedy, your instructor for the afternoon , participants will create their own design to take home, completed, fully polished and ready to wear.
Duration: 4 hours
Workshop fee: $95
Material fee: $35 paid to the instructor (HST included)

All registration fees are subject to HST. A registration is secured when the fee is paid. There is no refund or reduction in the fee for missed classes. If you find it necessary to cancel, we are happy to provide a store credit for the value of your registration, less a $25 cancellation fee. Due to our commitment to our instructors and fellow students, there is no refund/credit for cancellations within one week of course start date.
