Diving Deep into Mixed Media Collage - Thursdays, 10 am to 4 pm; August 14 & 21
As a contemporary art expression, collage has been used by artists such as Robert Rauschenberg, Kurt Schwitters, Man Ray and many others. This course is an opportunity to explore personal expression using techniques that combine acrylic paint, mark-making and various papers and other materials. On day one, you'll use gelli plates and other techniques such as stamp making, mark making, and stencil cutting to design and create your own papers On week two, you'll use your materials and your enhanced knowledge of composition to complete at least one mixed media piece.

Duration: 2 days, 10 am to 4 pm
Course Fee: $245 plus hst. Bring your own paints and brushes. A materials fee of $25 will cover your use of gelli plates and other materials provided by the instructor. More information regarding materials will be provided prior to class.

If you find it necessary to cancel, we are happy to provide a store credit for the value of your registration, less a $25 cancellation fee.
