Nuno Felting - Ruffle Scarf - Wednesday, August 19; 12 noon to 4 pm
Create a lightweight nuno felted ruffle scarf in just an afternoon. It's the perfect end of summer accessory! Nuno felting is the fusing of merino wool and silk. Participants will learn how to do a spiral layout of wool on a piece of silk that they will felt and cut, resulting in a long thin ruffle scarf. We will cover how to choose materials, wet felting technique and the proper finishing of your felt pieces.
