Intro to Pottery Wheel - Sundays, 1 pm to 4 pm; July 12 to July 26
Have you ever wanted to try the pottery wheel but not sure if it's for you? Come to META4 Gallery to get your hands muddy and give it a whirl. In week one you'll learn to centre and pull your clay. You can potentially make several pieces in this first class. In week two you'll trim your pieces. Then we'll fire them in our kiln and on week three you'll apply glaze. After a second glaze firing your pieces will be ready for pick up. Only 4 spots in each class so register early! Open to students 14 and older.
Course Fee: $235 (includes all materials, clay, glazes and firings)

Important Registration Information:
Masks are optional. Aprons are provided but clay is messy. Do not wear your best clothes. Fingernails should be trimmed short. META4 has only wheels intended for right-handed potters (we're so sorry about this) so lefties will have to learn right-handed.
Updated Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received more than 3 days before the first class are eligible for a credit or refund, less a $25 cancellation fee. There is no refund or credit for cancellations less than 3 days prior to the start of class. There is no refund or credit once a class has started. A registration may be transferred to another person at no charge.
