Exploring Mixed Media Collage - Thursdays, 1 pm to 3:30 pm; March 5 to April 9
As a contemporary art expression, collage has been used by artists such as Robert Rauschenberg, Kurt Schwitters, Man Ray and many others. This course is an opportunity to explore personal expression using techniques that combine acrylic paint, mark-making and various papers and other materials. You'll use gelli plates to print your own papers, then move on to other mixed media 'play', such as stamp making, mark making, and stencil cutting. Apply your enhanced knowledge of composition and complete several collages.

Duration: 6 weeks, Thursday afternoons
Course Fee: $245 plus hst. Bring your own paints and brushes. All other materials will be provided for an additional materials fee.

All registration fees are subject to HST. A registration is secured when the fee is paid. There is no refund or reduction in the fee for missed classes. If you find it necessary to cancel, we are happy to provide a store credit for the value of your registration, less a $25 cancellation fee. Due to our commitment to our instructors and fellow students, there is no refund/credit for cancellations within one week of course start date.
