Pottery - Intermediate Wheel-throwing - Thursdays, 6 pm to 8:30 pm; May 8 to June 12
Potters with some experience can further expand their skills in this intermediate level class. You'll learn how to make lidded pots, plates and more. Each student will work at their own wheel.
Note: you must be proficient at centering and able to throw a cylinder with 2 lbs of clay. This class is not for beginners.
Course Fee: $375. (includes all materials, clay, glazes and firings)
Instructor: David Schembri
Duration: 6 weeks
Time: 6 pm to 8:30 pm
Important Registration Information:
Masks are optional. Aprons are provided but clay is messy. Do not wear your best clothes. Fingernails should be trimmed short. META4 has only wheels intended for right-handed potters (we're so sorry about this) so lefties will have to learn right-handed.
Updated Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received more than 3 days before the first class are eligible for a credit or refund, less a $25 cancellation fee. There is no refund or credit for cancellations less than 3 days prior to the start of class. There is no refund or credit once a class has started. A registration may be transferred to another person at no charge.
