Fused Glass Serving Platter - CHOOSE YOUR DATE Saturday, 9:30 am - 12 noon - SEAGRAVE
Create your own art glass with special effects using glass frits, powders and stringers. Learn how to design and create a fused glass piece such as a platter or small dish. This 2.5-hour class introduces many fundamental concepts related to creating glass objects in the kiln. After a brief overview, you'll work with a wide range of glasses to make an 6 x 12 fused and slumped plate. Plates will be fired after the workshop and available for pick-up a few days later. No experience with glass is required for this course—recommended for beginners.

NOTE: As of September 22, 2021, you must show proof of full vaccination (2 doses at least 14 days prior to class) or medical exemption in order to attend a studio program at META4 Gallery. This is required by the Ontario Ministry of Health.
Due to Covid-19 protocols, wearing a cloth or paper mask is mandatory. Bring your own snack/drink as these are not provided. META4's washrooms are available to students but not the general public. More details regarding maintaining a healthy environment will be emailed as part of your confirmation.
Updated Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received more than 3 days before the first class are eligible for a credit or refund, less a $25 cancellation fee. There is no refund or credit for cancellations less than 3 days prior to the start of class. A registration may be transferred to another person at no charge.
