Intuitive Mixed Media and Collage - Saturday, May 3, 2025
Join us in our inspiring creative space for this engaging, day-long, mixed media collage class where you will dive into the vibrant world of mixed media collage with Jeffrey Macklin of Jackson Creek Press. This is a playful workshop that explores the use of shapes combined with pattern, layers, colour and design. We’ll look at examples, talk about composition and colour theory before we do a warm up. Participants will work to complete a unique work on a panel, ready to hang in your home. No matter your skill level, this workshop welcomes everyone—from beginners seeking a creative outlet to experienced artists looking to push their boundaries. Whether you're into mixed media, eager to explore new techniques, or just want to have a blast expressing yourself through art and design, this workshop promises to ignite your inspiration and bring joy to your artistic journey.

Duration: 1 day, 10 am to 4 pm (there is a 1-hour break for lunch)
Course fee: $120
Materials: most art supplies will be provided. Students will need a wood panel/support, approx. 10" x 10". Bring additional collage materials you might like to use.

Cancellations received more than 3 days before the first class are eligible for a credit or refund, less a $25 cancellation fee. There is no refund or credit for cancellations less than 3 days prior to the start of class. A registration may be transferred to another person at no charge.
