Brittany Lauren's skill in painting wildlife was inspired by her work at a wildlife rehabilitation facility, where she was able to get up close and personal with a variety of animals. Brittany works in acrylic, applying mediums with palette knives, beeswax and various other materials. "Scarlet" is both peaceful and vulnerable, calm yet still wild -- an evocative reminder of how precious Ontario's wildlife is.
