Intro to Scratchboard - Canadiana! - Saturday, July 19; 10 am to 4 pm
Spend a fun and fantastic day with talented and engaging instructor Lisa Martini-Dunk and learn the technique of Scratchboard. Scratchboard is a board that has been made with compressed white clay and black ink. You'll learn how to use various tools to create different textures and effects. Today's workshop theme is Canadiana! Choose an iconic animal -- moose, beaver, goose or other favourite -- and create your own unique work of art. Apply colour or leave it as a black and white illustration -- the choice is yours. Suitable for both beginner and intermediate students.

Duration: 1 day; 10 am to 4 pm (there will be a break for lunch. lunch is not included)
Course fee: $120 (+ $40 materials fee payable to the instructor)
