David Trant is a Toronto-born painter and carver whose work is described as East Coast folk meets Bugs Bunny. David has worked as a freelance artist, wood carver and painter (and yacht captain, motorcycle shop manager, and pipe organ repair guy). Influenced by his family's East Coast roots, David has developed work that balances folk carving with a contemporary, whimsical style. David now makes his home here in Scugog Township.
