Gelatin Plate Monoprinting, Saturday, November 10 - PORT PERRY
Explore this exciting printmaking technique without the need of a mechanical press or toxic solvents. Create unique prints using a printing plate made of ordinary household gelatin. The image can either be painted directly onto the gelatin, made with an image etched into a plexiglass plate, or made using textured materials and found objects. Experiment with designs on fabric. No previous printmaking experience is required to create prints inspired by endless possibilities, just your imagination and enthusiasm!
