Intermediate Watercolour Batik - Saturday, September 23; 10 am to 4 pm
Watercolour batik combines the brilliance and clarity of watercolour - and hot wax. In this exciting workshop you’ll experience the semi-unpredictable nature of the medium and the moment of high anticipation as the wax is removed from the completed work, revealing the painting beneath. In this intermediate class you'll learn or become re-aquainted with the techniques and tools. Then you'll work on your own original designs. Previous watercolour experience is required for this intermediate class.
