Pottery: Handbuilding Nesting Bowls - Sunday, November 6, 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm
Beautiful and functional pottery can be created without a pottery wheel! Normally it is a multi-day process to form, fire and glaze your pottery but our instructor has been able to condense the process into just one afternoon for this project. In just a few hours you'll craft a set of nesting bowls, glaze them and have them ready for the kiln. After firing to more than 2000 degrees F, your bowls will be ready to pick up a week later. This is a great opportunity to try something new and make a food-safe item you'll be able to use. No previous experience required!
Course Fee: $80 (includes all clay, glaze and firing)
Instructor: Jasmine Moncalvo
Duration: one afternoon, 12:30 pm to 4:30
