As Evening Approaches is a mixed media piece featuring collage and gelatin plate monoprinting.


Corina Kiefert Chester is a multimedia artist who is continually inspired by the happenings of day to day life.  She is constantly exploring new techniques in a variety of media, including pencil, oil, gauche, mosaic and gelatine plate monoprints. Her monoprints are created using a printing plate made from ordinary gelatine. The image is either painted or rolled directly onto the gelatine plate to create a single and unique work of art that is not replicated.
