Kate went to Ohio University in the '70s. Set in the hills of Southeast Ohio; it was a beautiful place of hills & hollows, with a respect for craft and domesticity, & a tradition of kick-ass feminism; this is where her love of weaving was kindled. Today, she creates in a large, light-filled studio along the Irondale River in rural Ontario. Her scarves are hand-woven on a rigid handle loom. Each has a mix of fibres, including two or more of cotton, cashmere, merino wool, silk, bamboo, alpaca, and some wool-acrylic for durability. Each is one of a kind.
Care: Wash by hand in mild shampoo & dry flat.
7.5" wide x 72" long.
