For many years, Bonnie Thomson has created architectural stained glass using time-honoured techniques but more recently creates with contemporary design concepts incorporating a number of glass techniques in each of her pieces. Largely self-taught, experimentation is an important part of her process. In many of her sculptures, Bonnie includes a stone carving component, contrasting with the frailty of the glass.
Bonnie is a co-owner of our gallery META4 Contemporary Craft Gallery.
