Long Lost by Roz Hermant
Roz Hermant was born and raised in Toronto. After finishing high school, she migrated west to attend school in Vancouver. After finishing at UBC, a travelling expedition to South and Central America fueled her desire to make photographs and she subsequently attended and graduated from Emily Carr Institute with a degree in Photography. Her travels have always influenced her art practice and she has no plans of slowing down. She calls Peterborough home now.
Long Lost is very whimsical with the focal point being the beautiful parrot on the right side. It is balanced by the branches of the tree on the left. "Long Lost" really does give you a feeling of exploring and being lost in the beauty of nature.
